The fishery was constructed to propagate, stock, and establish trout populations in the Black Hills of South Dakota and Wyoming. It was closed in the 1980's and reopen to visitors as a historic and cultural heritage that is open year round. Located in Spearfish, South Dakota
I am originally from Madeira,Ohio. Currently I live outside of Custer, South Dakota in the middle of cattle country. The beautiful Black Hills are my playground and inspiration. Living here I have an endless supply of forest to play in, along with all the amazing animals and old barns to photograph. I grew up as an Air Force brat and traveled the world with my parents experiencing life. We spent countless hours exploring castles, art galleries and every church and monument we could find!
