It is the third longest cave in the world with 195 miles of mapped and surveyed passages.
The cave received its name from the crystals that line the walls.
Located inside a 1,279-acre park with hiking trails above ground and guided tours below ground.
I am originally from Madeira,Ohio. Currently I live outside of Custer, South Dakota in the middle of cattle country. The beautiful Black Hills are my playground and inspiration. Living here I have an endless supply of forest to play in, along with all the amazing animals and old barns to photograph. I grew up as an Air Force brat and traveled the world with my parents experiencing life. We spent countless hours exploring castles, art galleries and every church and monument we could find!
