Description
This is a Barrel Cactus flower. When the bloom, they form a crown of flowers on top of the cactus. The cactus has thorns that grow in a hook shape and form a very tight barrier to protect the plant. The photograph was taken at The Desert Museum, Tucson, Arizona.
