Its Autumn in Spearfish Canyon, South Dakota. The Bridal Veil Falls are a huge attraction and run very heavy after the snow melt. In the winter when they are frozen, you can see people climbing the ice falls! The road going through the canyon is just stunning all year long. So beautiful that parts of Dances With Wolves was filmed there.

I am originally from Madeira,Ohio. Currently I live outside of Custer, South Dakota in the middle of cattle country. The beautiful Black Hills are my playground and inspiration. Living here I have an endless supply of forest to play in, along with all the amazing animals and old barns to photograph.
