Description
Pasque flower digitally "painted" in soft pastel oils. The Pasque flower is the state flower of South Dakota and is known as the May Flower, Prairie smoke and the Goslinweed. It is one of the first flowers to bloom in the spring. Years ago the flowers were used to dye Easter eggs. It is in the Ranunculaceae family.
