" Bleue"
Commonly called Woodland Phlox, Wild Sweet William, or Wild Blue Phlox, this adaptable plant is hardy. Phlox (Phlox Divaricatais) is often found along streams and in open woods. 8-18 in. loose, flat clusters of fragrant, lavender, blue or pink flowers with notched petals occur at the top of these stems. Tends to grown about 2 to 4 feet in height.. A very common flower around the trees in my pastures in South Dakota.
