Velvet Rose poster by Rebecca Langen. Our posters are produced on acid-free papers using archival inks to guarantee that they last a lifetime without fading or loss of color. All posters include a 1" white border around the image to allow for future framing and matting, if desired.
Pink roses (Carolinae) symbolizes grace and elegance.
The first trace of the pink rose was found in fossils dating back 40 million years! More recent historical evidence shows pink roses were grown in China’s Imperial rose gardens about 5,000 years ago. Most wild roses are in the pink family and due to their popularity, they are responsible for the start of floral wall paper!
These pink wild roses not only grown in the pasture by the house, but they have found their way into my garden. Best of both worlds!

About Rebecca Langen
I am originally from Madeira,Ohio. Currently I live outside of Custer, South Dakota in the middle of cattle country. The beautiful Black Hills are my playground and inspiration. Living here I have an endless supply of forest to play in, along with all the amazing animals and old barns to photograph.
I grew up as an Air Force brat and traveled the world with my parents experiencing life. We spent countless hours exploring castles, art galleries and every church and monument we could find! I love taking my photographs and turning them into digital art.
I hope you enjoy my art as much as I do!
